Installation
Install VirtuaOS
VirtuaOS = Debian 13 + the kernel-virtua kernel + the Virtua platform. Allow a few minutes on a minimal Debian 13 server.
Requirements

Install from the APT repository

Add the APT source
The signing key is embedded in the
virtua.sourcesfile:sudo curl -fsSL https://dep.auxinux.ca/VIRTUA/virtua.sources \ -o /etc/apt/sources.list.d/virtua.sources -

Install Virtua
sudo apt update sudo apt install auxinux-virtuaFollow the provisioning:
journalctl -fu auxinux-virtua-setup -

Add the VirtuaOS kernel (recommended)
sudo apt install kernel-virtua sudo rebootThe kernel source is declared separately: see the Kernel page.

Sign in
Open
https://<SERVER-IP>(orhttp://<SERVER-IP>:8441). Initial credentials:admin/admin123— changing the password is mandatory on first login.
ISO image
VirtuaOS ISO image (beta)
A beta installation image is also published. The APT method above remains recommended: it always installs the latest Virtua version.
Maintenance
Update, repair, uninstall
Update — the package automatically re-runs the Virtua update:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
Uninstall — your VMs, LXC and Docker containers are never touched:
sudo apt remove auxinux-virtua # keeps data
sudo apt purge auxinux-virtua # removes /var/lib/auxinuxvirtual
Install from source:
git clone https://git.auxinux.ca/Auxinux/Virtua.git /opt/auxinuxvirtual
cd /opt/auxinuxvirtual
sudo bash INSTALL/install.sh
install.sh options: -update (update, keep everything), -repair (reinstall the panel), -reset (wipe portal data), -clean (full reinstall). -reset and -clean keep pools, snapshots, images, templates and Compose files.
